Building Long Term Quality Residential Living
Filling the Void: Bridging the Housing Gap on Groote Eylandt
The development of a new residential estate stands as a cornerstone for the success of the Little Paradise Development Masterplan (LDMA) and the flourishing Future Groote economy. The shortage of quality housing on Groote Eylandt has created a barrier, hindering the recruitment of skilled professionals, especially in vital sectors such as education, health, law, and justice. Our mission is to address this gap and create an enticing community that attracts and retains critical workers and their families within the Groote Archipelago.
Meeting Critical Demand: Health Sector Employees
Government departments are placing a crucial demand for health sector employees, with an estimated requirement of 21 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) workers. Like many Indigenous communities, the Anindilyakwa face ongoing health challenges that necessitate a consistent and qualified workforce. The Little Paradise Residential Estate aims to provide the housing infrastructure essential to meet this demand and support the well-being of the community.
